A while back, I shared some of my work with friends and family, and someone whose opinion is of great import to me told me something that stuck. I wanted to record that thought for posterity.

This work is a mildly random piece that is somewhat awkward and chaotic but also interesting, moving, and peaceful... with a 'surprise' ending. While it's intended to be meditative and soothing, the occasional randomness relates to how I think this person heard my work - as not really musical based on his tastes and preferences.
